Contributions
Featuretools
- Core contributor to the most popular automated feature engineering library
- Added primitives (relational dataset calculations) and variable types
- Created FAQ section to address Stack Overflow and Github questions
- Helped transition library from closed to open source
- Contributed to setting standards for versioning and releasing
- Investigated numerous bugs and issues raised on Github and Stack Overflow
- Updated CI infrastructure to test add-on libraries
- Conducted code reviews to maintain stable codebase, while adding new features
Woodwork
- Created a library for data typing of 2-dimensional tabular data structures
- Used for data typing in Featuretools, EvalML, and general ML applications
- Oversaw the development of the library from inception to design to implementation
- Created mutual information method to show a measure of dependency

- Developed a prediction model for taxi trip duration based on historical trips
- Helped create a professional course for MIT xPro using this pipeline
