Contributions

Featuretools

• Core contributor to the most popular automated feature engineering library
• Added primitives (relational dataset calculations) and variable types
• Created FAQ section to address Stack Overflow and Github questions
• Helped transition library from closed to open source
• Contributed to setting standards for versioning and releasing
• Investigated numerous bugs and issues raised on Github and Stack Overflow
• Updated CI infrastructure to test add-on libraries
• Conducted code reviews to maintain stable codebase, while adding new features

Woodwork

• Created a library for data typing of 2-dimensional tabular data structures
• Used for data typing in Featuretools, EvalML, and general ML applications
• Oversaw the development of the library from inception to design to implementation
• Created mutual information method to show a measure of dependency
• Set short and long term features/goals for library development
• Conducted code reviews to maintain stable codebase, while adding new features

Predict Taxi Trip

• Developed a prediction model for taxi trip duration based on historical trips
• Helped create a professional course for MIT xPro using this pipeline

• An automated web-crawler to book study rooms at Wake Forest University
